- Before the 2018 election Kristersson reportedly promised a Holocaust survivor he would not govern with the Sweden Democrats' support. He later called it a rumour, and said the promise only covered 2018.
- In October 2022 the Tidö agreement made the Sweden Democrats the government's support party.
