What really happened
- In May 2024 TV4's Kalla fakta revealed that the Sweden Democrats' communications department ran undisclosed anonymous accounts, called "trollfabriken" internally.
- Åkesson called them humor accounts, and the reporting a gigantic influence operation by the left-liberal establishment.
- In September 2026, answering criticism about an SD employee spreading pro-Russian messages, he said Andersson had spent the whole campaign hating him.
